Wanted

I've been wanting to see Wanted. I'm not really sure why, the previews just captured my attention. I have to admit that I didn't watch the movie 100% (I was multi-tasking). There are some twists, some nice action scenes, a few scenes a tad bit gruesome. It seems there could be a lot more to it. I would have to say it's an OK movie. Nothing earth shattering, but a decent movie.

Cast: Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy

Netflix Summary: Wesley Gibbon (James McAvoy) is just an ordinary guy, unaware that his long-lost father is one of the world's most notorious assassins. But when his father is killed, a mysterious associate named Sloan (Morgan Freeman) arrives, offering Wesley the chance to fill dad's shoes. Mentored by Sloan's deputy, Fox (Angelina Jolie), Wesley carries out the will of the mythological Fates, who see Wesley's targets in a magical loom.

Juno

I watched Juno tonight - for the first time. It was a cute movie, but I didn't think it was anything spectacular. It has a great cast, and I did like the ending. But overall it didn't impress me much.

Cast: J.K. Simmons, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Alison Janney

IMDB Summary: "A tale told over four seasons, starting in autumn when Juno, a 16-year-old high-school junior in Minnesota, discovers she's pregnant after one event in a chair with her best friend, Bleeker. In the waiting room of an abortion clinic, the quirky and whip-sharp Juno decides to give birth and to place the child with an adoptive couple. She finds one in the PennySaver personals, contacts them, tells her dad and step-mother, and carries on with school. The chosen parents, upscale yuppies (one of whom is cool and laid back, the other meticulous and uptight), meet Juno, sign papers, and the year unfolds. Will Juno's plan work, can she improvise, and what about Bleeker?"

My Ratings Guide

My Fondness Legend:
I should warn you, my taste in movies tends to be vastly different than others. I did not choose to rate movies based on what the critics said, or what the general population said but rather how the movie made ME feel.

Love it -
Can't watch it enough, anytime it's on tv, I watch it, I'll make all my friends watch it.

Like it -
I like it, I might even own it, it's good, I might re-watch it occasionally.

It was ok -
the movie was decent, had some good parts, but I have no desire to own it or watch it again.

Just Terrible-
There are very few movies I do not like. Most movies that would tend to fall in that category, I just avoid. But for the rare few that I have suffered through I have the just terrible rating.

My Ownership Legend:
I own it - VHS or DVD
I don't own it.
I want to own it
I have no desire to own it
**NOTE: My ownership rating is just that - a matter of if I own or would like to own the movie. Just because I choose to not own a movie, does not necessarily mean that I did not enjoy the movie (the inverse of that is also true). Please don't assume that just because I own something I think it's a good movie. Please refer to my fondness ratings (above) for my opinions about the movies.
